Stephen W. Secord
BRIDGTON – Stephen W. Secord, 81, of Bridgton, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024 at Bella Point in Bridgton. Stephen was born Sept. 26, 1942 in Portland, the son of Edward and Mary Secord. He graduated from Deering High School class of 1960. Stephen married Gail Perron Oct. 17, 1964.
He enjoyed metal detecting, woodworking, and was a longtime member of St. Peters Episcopal Church. He was a loyal family man. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gail Secord; parents Bill and Mary Secord; in-laws Sylvester and Ethel Perron; one brother, Lawrence Secord and his wife, Mary Secord; a son, Scott W. Secord; and grandson, Bradley S. Secord.
He is survived by his children, Chad S. Secord and wife Jennifer, Laurie L. Secord, Rebecca J. Dyke and her husband Benjamin, a daughter-in-law, Amy Secord; three grandchildren, Derek Secord, Wilson R. Secord, and Rachael Dyke. He was also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
There will be a graveside service held at Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress St., Portland, ME 04102 at 10 a.m. on Sept. 25.
