Nancy Ann Raine
BERWICK – Nancy Ann Raine, 83, died peacefully on Oct. 17, 2024, at Summer Commons in Sanford.
Nancy was born on Sept. 15, 1941, in Swanton, Vt., to Alfred and Sybil (Cook) Martin.
Kenneth and Nancy settled in Berwick in 1985 after Kenneth retired from the Air Force. She was a homemaker and was the best mother in the world to her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, painting, working on puzzles, and needlepointing.
Nancy, a woman of boundless love, is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth; sons Gregory (Ana) of Arundel and Shawn (Jeanne) of Sanford; grandchildren Kyle (Maari) and Taylor (Katie); and great-grandchildren Elise and Luca; and sister, Christine of Vermont. Her love for her family was her guiding light.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Adele.
Visiting hours will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Bibber Memorial at Autumn Green in Alfred. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.
