Thanks for

campaign support

I am writing to thank my community and the people of my district who have supported my campaign for House this election season. I am deeply moved by the warmth, unity, and shared spirit that I witnessed throughout my journey. I am profoundly grateful for the many connections made at the doors (and beyond) during these months.

The support from each of you – whether it was through donations, words of encouragement, or helping hands (so many tasks) – has inspired me
beyond measure. Together, we’ve laid the foundation for something greater, and I encourage all of us to continue supporting each other and making our voices heard by being actively involved in our local and state government.

Feel free to reach out to me any time as I will remain diligent to follow what is happening in Augusta and beyond. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your trust, your friendship, and your commitment to our shared vision for a brighter future and a return to our state’s slogan: Maine: The Way Life Should Be.

Much love and appreciation,

Harvest Fair

appreciation

St. David’s Episcopal Church would like to sincerely thank its parish family and friends, along with the community for their generosity in support of this year’s annual Harvest Fair.

The numerous donations of products, services, and gift cards from area boutiques, eateries, and specialty shops, along with the over 500 folks who came to shop, eat, and enjoy great camaraderie, are what makes our annual fair such a tremendous success.

A special thank you goes out to For the Love of Food and Drink,  7-High,  Duffy’s, Village Tavern, and Mike’s American Diner for providing fabulous sandwiches and award-winning soups that were offered at bargain prices for lunch.  Congdon’s generous offering of doughnuts was enjoyed by all who attended this wonderful event.

We hope all who came had as much fun as we did.  See you next year.

Grateful for

support of voters

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the voters of District 32 – Arundel, Biddeford, Dayton, Hollis, and Lyman – who with their vote have entrusted me to serve them for another two years in the Maine Senate. I do not take this responsibility lightly, and my sleeves remained rolled up to begin another term immediately.

I will continue to work on the issues that are most pressing to my constituents: tackling the climate crisis by meeting Maine’s climate goals, advocating for safe, quality preK-12 public education, supporting affordable health care and reproductive freedom, and continuing our work for affordable housing. In addition, we need to help ensure child care is available and affordable and that our elderly community members can stay in their homes, keep warm, and put food on the table. There is so much work to be done.

I also want to thank each of you who have volunteered and worked so hard during my re-election campaign: from my “kitchen cabinet” team who were highly organized and ready early on to the many letter writers, drivers, sign captains, clean election contributors, and friends and family members who helped so much to make the campaign a success. You volunteered and contributed freely in order to make my re-election unfold – thank you.

A big thank-you to the many city and town clerks, their staff, and the volunteer poll workers and law enforcement personnel who made the voting before and during Election Day safe, secure, and efficient. I visited all five of the polling locations in my district on Nov. 5 and found all of them running smoothly.

Finally, I want to tell you that I work for you whether you’re in my district or not. I try to help my own constituents by listening, solving problems when I can, and finding help when I am able, but when I am in Augusta, whether in the committee rooms or on the senate floor, I do my best to support policies that will benefit all Mainers. That is my mission.

The best to you, and I hope the fall and the coming holidays are good to us all.

Concerned about

the country

Proud of Maine, but deeply concerned about the country I love. After re-reading our Constitution, what happened on Nov. 5 makes little sense. Why did the midlands vote for someone who is a jury convicted felon who should be in jail; is a convicted sex offender (have you forgotten the payoff?); is an adulterer; is a cheat; is a liar; and brags about his grabbing (doesn’t this show his true feelings about women?)

By voting for him what does this say about his supporters and more importantly our country? Don’t do business with us. We are not to be trusted.
