BUXTON – Raymond Joseph Veilleux, 83, passed away peacefully on Nov. 10, 2025.
He was born in Waterville on Aug. 7, 1942, a son of the late Arthur and Beatrice (Poirier) Veilleux and attended Waterville Schools.
He worked for many years at Portland/Sebago Oil and Ice, did lobstering, and most recently drove as a tour bus driver for Custom Coach and Limousine where he met many wonderful people. He enjoyed lobstering, boating, and taking kids fishing.
He was predeceased by all of his siblings.
Raymond is survived by his beloved husband, Stephen Sawyer; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Viewing will be private amongst his family. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday Nov. 18 at 12 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Plains Road, Hollis.
