Lucas Raine
PORTLAND – Lucas Raine, 29, of Portland, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving friends and family. He was born on June 4, 1996, and was a proud Deering High School alumnus.
Lucas possessed a contagious laugh and a smile that could brighten any room. During his youth, he enjoyed playing football and baseball, always proving to be a dedicated team player both on and off the field. He was steadfast in his loyalty, showing up without hesitation for those he cared about.
He worked as a fisherman in Portland, where he created countless memories out at sea with his late brother, Anthony. Life was never dull in Lucas’s presence—his humor, compassion, and selflessness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Lucas treasured time spent with his niece, Gracie, and found joy in gaming with his close friends.
He is survived by his mother, Stormy Raine, stepfather, John Furman; sisters Nicole Dunton, Shayna Dunton, and Jessica Walker, along with her husband, Ryan Walker; nephew, Landyn Dunton, nieces Luciana Dunton, Norah Walker, and Gracie Walker; as well as his best friends Dio Rose and Timmy Gavett.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Dunton; and brother, Anthony C. Raine.
A private service will be held to honor Lucas’s life.
