Jon R. Dufresne

KENNEBUNKPORT – Jon Richard Dufresne, 52, of Kennebunkport, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, at home.

Jon, born April 12, 1973, was known for having a warm and caring presence, a love for cooking, and a deep bond with his beloved dog, Fozzie. Friends and family will remember Jon’s wry sense of humor that filled any room he was in and the joy he found preparing gourmet meals that brought people together.

Jon built a distinguished career, graduating from Kennebunk High School, Bowdoin College, and receiving his Law Degree from Suffolk University Law School. He worked in corporate law, leaving a legacy of dedication and excellence. Beyond professional success, Jon’s greatest pride was in the relationships he nurtured and the happiness he shared with others.

Jon is survived by his loving parents: Richard and Jolyne (Beauchene) Dufresne of The Villages, FL and Kennebunkport, his brother: Dr. Michael Dufresne and wife Beth, his nieces: Mackenzie and Sydney Dufresne, his Uncle Dennis and wife Deb, his Aunts Marie and Suzanne, as well as many nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., on Tuesday, December 9, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, Saco. A Funeral Service will follow immediately after at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, Saco.
