Gladys A. Casale
WINDHAM – Mrs. Gladys A. Casale of Windham, passed peacefully, Dec. 14, 2025, at the age of 89.
Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Casale; her mother, Virginia (Anderson) Thurlow, and her father Hollis Thurlow.
She is survived by her children Kathleen, Randall, and Daniel Casale; and her sister, Dorothy Googins. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Ethan, Zachary, and Jennifer Casale, Hannah, Emma, and Matthew Casale, Chelsea Osgood, and Katie Harlow.
Gladys loved her home of 53 years in Cumberland, where she was a homemaker, and avid gardener. Some of her favorite hobbies included, raising and selling Chihuahuas, Dachshunds, and Basset Hounds, going on long car rides to her favorite places which included the Maine coast, New Hampshire and Vermont, especially during foliage season.
Gladys was also an enthusiastic and passionate photographer. She sold many of her photos as cards, magnets, and prints, and won many contests with them.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, Dec. 21, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Rd., Windham. Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m.
