James M. Hanson
AUGUSTA – A memorial service celebrating the life of James M. Hanson will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at 2 p.m., at First Parish Church, 116 Main St., Yarmouth, Maine.
Jim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and a deeply loved presence in the lives of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, curiosity, and steadfast love for those closest to him.
Jim is survived by his wife, Joan Hanson; his children, Marsh Hanson, Christina Hanson, and Joanna Kirkland; and his four grandchildren.
