William Pelletier
BRUNSWICK – So sad to announce the passing of our dear brother, Billy, one of Brunswick’s notable musicians.
Billy started playing guitar at age nine and continued to make a living entertaining in Florida and Alabama for over 30 years. For several years he performed with Johnny Williams of the original Drifters, plus many other well known artists.
After the death of his wife, Delaine, Billy moved back to Maine from Alabama and continued to entertain at American Legions, Elks, and many private parties, he also held down many different jobs, as is the life of a musician.
Billy leaves behind his sister, Jeannine Staples and brothers, Alvey and Robert (Bobby) Pelletier. Also his daughter, Barbara Pelletier and son Ryan Pelletier.
Internment will be at the Veterans Cemetery in the spring.
