Foster Kimball Robbins Jr.
YARMOUTH – Foster Kimball Robbins Jr., 69, a life-long resident of Yarmouth passed away on Jan. 13, 2026. The son of Foster Sr. and Beryl (Bowden) Robbins, he was born in Castine on April 29, 1956.
He loved the outdoors, especially hiking and camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. He was proud to have climbed all the 4,000 footers, some of them several times. He was fascinated with trains and both real and model. He was a collector of many things, especially collecting and painting Warhammer figurines. He loved animals, particularly his dog Geraldine, and his several cats, including Speckie, Loki, Othello, and Scrapper.
He was predeceased by his sister, Romana Robbins; and his friend, Clifford Gregor.
He is survived by his cousins Douglas Robbins, Priscilla Kimball, and Paula Demers.
His family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Lodges for their compassionate care of Foster, and to Affinity Hospice of Maine for their invaluable support. A special thank you is also extended to Rachel Moreau, Jeanne Demers, and Sarah Agarwal for their love, support, and devoted care of Foster.
There will be a graveside committal service in the spring at Riverside Cemetery in Yarmouth.
In lieu of flowers his family suggest you consider a donation to your local animal rescue or shelter.
