Gloria (Libby) Twomey
SOUTH PORTLAND –
Gloria (Libby) Twomey, 83, of South Portland, died unexpectedly Jan. 19, 2026, surrounded by the deep love of her family.
She was the daughter of Glendon and Inez (Proctor) Morrell, and graduated from South Portland High School in 1960. Soon after, she married Gordon B. Libby and they were blessed with three children. Gordon unexpectedly passed away in 1984.
Gloria then married Daniel M. Twomey in 1986. Dan came with five children of his own. The large family gathered for many, many happy times. Sadly, Dan passed in 2015. Gloria wanted nothing more than to spend time with her family and many friends. She enjoyed making every occasion a special one..
A celebration of Gloria’s fabulous life will be held at a later date.
