John Farren Hyatt
AUBURN – John Farren Hyatt, born in Minneapolis, Minn., May 20, 1966, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Feb. 17, 2026, at the age of 59.
John was born to the late Thaddeus F. Hyatt and Arline J. Hyatt, who preceded him in death. He carried their strength and values with him throughout his life.
A devoted brother and uncle, John is survived by his brother, Thaddeus K. Hyatt and his wife Heather, nephew, Thaddeus W. of Wayne; sister, AnnMarie (Hyatt) Stumpf, her husband Richard Stumpf, niece, Ashley Stumpf and nephew, Ryan Stumpf and Ariana Narinkiewicz of North Billerica, Mass.; brother, James Hyatt of Auburn; sister, Dawn Hyatt, Barbara Holmes of Westminster, Calif.; along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
John was employed for many years as a long-haul truck driver and most recently worked as a outdoor recreation mechanic. John took pride in his work and was respected for his dependability, skill, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in snowmobiling, boating, hunting, fishing — anything that allowed him to be outside surrounded by nature. Above all, John cherished time spent with family and friends. Gatherings filled with laughter and stories were where he felt most at home.
