Tim Hiltz
WESTBROOK – It is with heavy heart that the family of Tim Hiltz announce his passing on Feb. 8, 2026, at the age of 78, following a stroke November 2023 and later complicated by CMML Leukemia. He was surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter and unwavering devotion to his family. Known for his helpful nature and friendly spirit, Tim was always ready with a smile or helping hand.
Tim was a graduate of Edward Little High School followed by his service in the USAF where he learned Telecommunications. He went on to serve six years in the Air National Guard and graduated from USM. Tim made a career in the telecommunication industry where he worked and owned several businesses. He was most proud of Communication Technologies (CTI), his employees and the company they built together.
Tim’s work ethic and giving spirit were recognized through coaching youth programs, church volunteering, serving on various boards, always offering help to family, friends and neighbors, especially if a Kubota was needed.
Tim was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He also enjoyed landscaping, home renovation, traveling and golf (the game he loved to hate).
Tim was predeceased by his parents, Frank V. Hiltz, Jr. and Ruth A. Hiltz; and brother, Frank V. Hiltz III.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Lage; son, Timothy P. Hiltz Jr., wife Georgia, stepson, Court Hoffman, wife Sara and daughter, Melissa Hiltz Buck; sister, Judy Hiltz, half-brother, James Jones and wife Linda; grandchildren, Dillon, Logan, Brayden, Maggie, Allie.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Fallbrook Commons, Cedars/Samuel L. Cohen Long Term Care for their endless commitment, kindness and compassion.
A service in Tim’s memory is scheduled on March 13, 1 p.m., Mountainside Community Church, 18 Mountain Rd., Falmouth.
