Sabrina Casale

PORTLAND – Sabrina Casale, born Sabrina Kelly, 67, passed away peacefully after a short courageous battle of cancer on Feb. 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on April 30, 1958, and grew up in Portland, a place she always held close to her heart.

Proud of her Italian heritage, Sabrina embraced family, tradition, and togetherness in everything she did. She was happiest in the kitchen, preparing meals made with love and sharing treasured recipes passed down through generations. Nothing meant more to her than a full house, a table overflowing with food, and the laughter of loved ones gathered close. Big family gatherings were her specialty, and she made every holiday a celebration, especially Christmas.

Sabrina was the devoted and loving wife of Denny Casale for 42 years, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unwavering partnership. She was a proud and caring mother to her sons Carl and Anthony Casale, who were the center of her world and her greatest joy.

She was a beloved mother-in-law to Amanda and Megan, whom she welcomed into the family with open arms and loved as her own. Nothing brought Sabrina more happiness than being “Mimi” to her cherished grandchildren, Noah, Harper, Alana, Avery, and Colbie. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Sabrina was the beloved daughter of Adrienne DiDonato and a cherished sister to Francesco and his wife Cheryl, Santo and his wife Gina, Vincent and his wife Wanda, and Walter and his wife Kimberley.

She was predeceased by her father, Frank; sisters Stephanie and Mona, whom she carried in her heart always.

Sabrina will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and her deep devotion to family.

Her generous spirit, kind heart, and welcoming home created lasting memories for all who knew her.

She leaves behind her husband; sons, daughters-in-law; grandchildren; mother; brothers; extended family; and many dear friends who will miss her beyond measure. Her memory will forever be a blessing to all that knew and loved her.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday March 9, at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday March 10 at St. Peter’s Church, 72 Federal St., Portland.
