Robert Theodore Dalpee

CASCO – Robert Theodore Dalpee, born Feb. 2, 1961, passed away at home after a brief illness on March 26, 2025.

Robert was raised in a close and loving family by his devoted grandmother, Ruby Veazie, and his mother, Shirley Brown, who helped shape the caring and hardworking man he became.

Robert attended Westbrook schools and began working at Maine Medical Center at just 17 years old in the housekeeping department. Through dedication and hard work, he later transferred to the painting department, where he remained for many years until he was forced to retire due to illness. His long career reflected his strong work ethic and commitment.

Robert shared a 33‑year marriage with Carol Dalpee, where he was very caring and devoted as a husband.

Above all else, Robert was a family man. He was the proud father of four children, Robert Dalpee and wife Nadia Dalpee, Nicole Small and husband Mark Small, Crystal Harris, and Kayla Dalpee. He was also a loving grandfather to Hannah, Alex, Gavin (fiance Vanessa), Rhylen, Landon, Jordan, Emma, Logan, Evan, and Farrah, and a proud great‑grandfather to Evelyn and little Rayleigh, who he sent with love after his passing. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Pam, and her husband, Kirby Hollifield.

Robert was loved by all who knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for his witty jokes and the joy he brought to those around him. He loved hunting, spending time out on the boat on Sebago Lake, cruising on his motorcycle and most of all being surrounded by his family and friends.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his laughter, kindness, and the love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him.
