Benjamin Charles Jendrasko
PORTLAND – Benjamin Charles Jendrasko, 69, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, leaving behind a life marked by hard work, love for family, and a lifelong passion for rock and roll.
A retired truck driver, he spent many years on the open road, earning a reputation for dedication, reliability, and pride in his work. He embraced the freedom of the highway and the simple satisfaction of an honest day’s labor.
Music was one of his greatest joys, especially rock and roll. The Beatles held a special place in his heart, and their songs were a constant soundtrack throughout his life, bringing him comfort, memories, and happiness.
He is survived by his daughter, Elijah, and her husband; his six beloved grandchildren; his wife, Thresea; and his cherished siblings: his sisters Fran, Lynn, and Anne Marie, and his brothers Peter, Leon, and Chip. Family meant everything to him, and the bonds he shared with them were a source of deep pride and joy throughout his life.
Benjamin will be remembered for his strong spirit, and his love of music.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at 75 State Street for the care they offered to Benjamin while he resided there.
Benjamin will be laid to rest at a later date in Clinton, Conn., alongside his beloved grandmother, Frances E. Roberts. A celebration of life will follow with the family to share details at a later date. It was here that he and his siblings spent many blissful summers chasing the ice cream truck and crabbing, creating cherished memories that stayed with him throughout his life.
