Sydney Brunelle, Cheverus junior midfielder: One of the top returning draw specialists in the state, Brunelle won 65% last season. The Bucknell University commit also scored 60 goals. 

Liv Clark, Greely sophomore goalie: As a freshman, Clark stopped 117 shots (about 60% of the shots she faced) while helping the Rangers reach the Class B semifinals. The entire defensive unit returns after allowing 6.1 goals per game.

Logan Doughty, Gorham senior midfielder: Doughty uses her size, vision and athleticism to command the midfield for the Rams. Last year, she scored 34 goals, earned 86 draw controls, scooped 47 ground balls and caused 23 turnovers. 

Lyla Dunphe, Westbrook senior midfielder: Dunphe led the Blue Blazes with 37 goals last season and is closing in on 100 career points. First-year head coach Rhiannon Jackson complimented the captain’s on-field intelligence, intensity and attitude.

Maddy Guay, Traip Academy junior goalie: In her first season in net, Guay set a program-record with 148 saves last spring and helped the Rangers reach the Class C title game.

Lily Howes, Scarborough sophomore attack: Howes scored 37 goals last year while also earning 78 draw controls and causing 19 turnovers. Head coach Taylor Colangelo calls the draw specialist “one of the most composed players I have ever coached.”

Camdyn Keenan, Kennebunk senior attack: A prolific scorer in the attack, Keenan (259 career points) is also a key part of the Rams’ transition and provides solid defense. Coach Annie Barker complimented the All-American’s lacrosse IQ, saying “she understands every aspect of the game.” Keenan scored 56 goals and added 90 assists last year for the Class A runner-up.

Oceanna LaMarre, Thornton Academy junior midfielder: LaMarre led the Golden Trojans in draw controls (75) and caused turnovers (20) while tallying 34 goals and 19 assists last season. First-year head coach Kelly Foley praised the UMass Lowell commit’s confidence, strength and aggression. 

Solveig Ledwick, Brunswick senior midfielder: A threat from endline to endline, Ledwick is a key for the Dragons with her strong defense and playmaking in the attack. The captain, who is fresh off a winter that included being named Varsity Maine Girls Hockey Player of the Year, led her team with 39 goals in 2025.

Zoe Nicholson, Morse senior midfielder: Nicholson will be a leader on both sides of the field as the Shipbuilders move up to Class B under first-year coach Mary LaRochelle. Last season, Nicholson scored 21 goals and had four assists, earned 40 draw controls and caused 17 turnovers.

Maddy Poitras, Marshwood senior midfielder: The St. Joseph’s College commit was a solid two-way player for the third-seeded Hawks last year and will look to lead the team at both ends again. Poitras produced 58 goals and 32 assists, earned 42 ground balls and 100 draw controls, and caused 14 turnovers.

Abby Trainor, Windham senior attack: With five goals and an assist in the Class A final, Trainor helped lead the Eagles to their first state championship in program history. The 2025 Varsity Maine Player of the Year and Fairfield University commit scored 93 goals and assisted on 33 last season, and is the team’s all-time leading scorer (300 career points). 

Ava Wilkinson, NYA senior attacker: A dominating presence in the Panthers’ attack, the 6-foot Wilkinson used her size and behind-the-net feeds to lead the team in scoring last season (43 goals in 2025). 

Sierra Zamer, Falmouth senior midfielder: Effort and toughness are key attributes in Zamer’s game, which has earned her 14 career goals, 62 ground balls and 36 caused turnovers. Coach Maddie York commended her captain’s composure and reliability.

Celia Zinman, Yarmouth senior midfielder: The Colby College dual-sport commit (field hockey and lacrosse) was strong for the Clippers in multiple phases of the game last spring, recording 61 goals and 17 assists while earning 60 draw controls and causing 27 turnovers.
