Victoria Bossong of Cumberland beat her competition by two seconds on Saturday to win the Olympic Development Women’s 600-meter elite title at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Bossong finished with a time of 1:26.25, beating out Michaela Rose (1:28.27), Rachel Gearing (1:29.93), Brynne Sumner (1:30.05) and Jordan Mozie (1:32.68) in the final.
The 2021 Cheverus graduate turned professional and signed with New Balance after spending four years at Harvard University. She was an indoor track and field first-team All-American and outdoor track and field second-team All-American during her senior season in 2024-25.
