HARPSWELL – Dear All, it is with great sorrow that we share the news of Kristina (Samse) Bailey’s passing on April 22, 2026. She peacefully departed at her residence due to a medical condition.
Kristina is survived by her husband, Clifford Bailey of So. Harpswell; her mother, Lela Simpson of Great Lakes, Minn.; her brother Robert Korstad and his family of Morehead, Minn., brother Kevin Korstad of Fargo, ND, and his family, and sister Kathleen Tooz and her family of Morehead, Minn.
Additionally, she is survived by her two sons, Alexander Samse and grandson Bailey of Morehead, Minn., and Brenden Samse of Portland, Maine; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, James Korstad.
A memorial gathering will be organized in Harpswell, Maine, later this spring.
