A Cape Elizabeth woman died in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike on Thursday after striking a camper.
Gayle Valle-Blake, 72, of Cape Elizabeth, was driving a Porsche north on the highway near mile marker 118 in Ridgefield Park Village, New Jersey, at about 11:20 a.m. when she struck the rear of a camper, New Jersey State Police said in a press release.
The driver of the Chevrolet pickup truck hauling the camper was not injured, police said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
