Robert L. Moore

BATH – Robert L. Moore, 64, of Bath, passed away peacefully, as he wished, on April 25, 2026. He was born on Oct. 14, 1961, to Philip Reno Jr. and Sandy Moore, then graciously adopted and raised by John and Mabel Moore.

He attended Bath schools. Robert enjoyed his years of painting houses but had to retire early due to his health. He was a huge fan of the 49ers football team, classic country, karaoke, listening to his police scanner 24/7 and his CB radio. The quiet side of Robert enjoyed the peacefulness of lighthouses and beaches. He was very well known for his love of seafood. Making his own fresh dishes from Cantrells but also visiting Maxwells and Taste of Maine when he wanted somebody else to cook for him.

Robert is now back with the love of his life, Sue. He was also predeceased by his parents; his siblings, Ronnie Rittall, Sly Moore, Mike Reno, Fred Reno, Becky Reno and Ruth Reno.

He leaves behind with great sadness, his children, Jessica Heffron (Lawrence), John Ragnar (Zoe), Samantha Balestrieri (Dustin); his siblings, Terina (Pete), Bonnie (Sean), Shannon (Joe), Kary (Rena), Gail and Tammy. He also leaves behind with pride and joy, eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He has numerous nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly, along with his aunts and uncles.

We will miss his stubborn personality and protective love. Robert was so lucky to have a very big family and so were we to be a part of it.

Please join us to celebrate his life (which includes a slide show, karaoke and a time to share stories or memories … don’t be shy, we know you have some) at the American Legion Hall on Congress Avenue in Bath, where he was a lifetime member, on Saturday May 16, from 2 to 5 p.m. There will also be a ceremony during that time, presented by the Sons of American Legion.
