It’s official: Main Street Bath is turning 25 and they’re throwing a party — a big one.
The Decades Dance Party is a 25th anniversary fundraiser happening from 7-11 p.m. Friday, May 22, at Long Reach Kitchen & Catering, 387 Whiskeag Road.
Each hour of the night belongs to a different decade: ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and 2000s. Come dressed to impress (fun, funky or formal, there are no wrong answers), dance it out, hit the cash bar, have some snacks and maybe win some raffle prizes.
This is an adults-only (18-plus) event. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The ticket link may be found at visitbath.com, and don’t forget to RSVP to the Facebook event.
Main Street Bath is a nonprofit organization with a mission of partnering to promote and preserve historic downtown Bath. It operates under the Maine Downtown Center, Main Street America and the National Historic Trust, and is one of only two accredited Maine downtowns to have earned the Great American Main Street Award.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
