GEORGETOWN / JACKSON, Fla. – Mary Lee Rowe, 79, went home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2026, in Jacksonville, Fla. She was youngest born daughter of Alfred I. and Cordelia Clark Rowe, in Bath, Maine, June 28, 1946.

She lived in several states, but the home of heart was always where she was raised, Georgetown, Maine.

Ms. Rowe was an accomplished pianist in her younger years. She ministered with her music to both Georgetown and Five Islands Baptist churches for many years. She was a member of The Order of Rainbow, Bath Assembly #6 and graduated from Morse High in 1964.

She was employed by NE Telephone in Bath and also the Portland Plant Dept. Moving to Ellsworth, Maine, in 1983, Mary was employed for 25 years at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Ellsworth Chorus and was active in her community.

She loved gardening, cooking, knitting and was devoted to the many dogs she had and loved throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Alfred A Rowe, and oldest sister Faylene Gruenloh.

She is survived by her one and only son, Jarrod Rowe of Brunswick; her sister Sherry Taschke and husband Jim of Jacksonville, Fla. She is also survived by many, many beloved nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held for the family at a later time.
