BRUNSWICK – James Morris Lowell, 65, died Wednesday July 8, 2026 at his home.
He was born Feb. 13, 1961 in Everett, Mass., a son of Daniel M. Sr. and Alice J. Lowell.
Jim was a devout Christian and a member of the Harbor Light Full Gospel Church, Topsham. He found great joy in his faith and was proud to be an American, having served in the U.S. Navy.
Jim worked as a baker working a Duncan Donuts during the height of “It’s time to make the donuts” was a common catch phrase. In his leisure time he cheered for all New England Sports teams, especially the Red Sox. He enjoyed watching wrestling, catching his favorite movies and TV shows, listening to music and was a good singer.
He was a jolly good story teller. While humorous, his best stories always included his family that he loved dearly, and lovingly called him “Jimmy Boy”.
He was predeceased by his parents; and two sisters, Lillian Meyer and Alice Alexander.
He is survived by a son, Adam Lowell, two daughters, Jessica Johnson, Kimberly Lowell; a brother, Daniel Lowell, Jr., two sisters, Patricia Gilbert, Denise Cochran; two grandchildren, Lillian Tower, Eric Lowell; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday July 22, in the New Meadows Cemetery, Brunswick. Memories and condolences can be shared at http://www.brackettfh.com.
