The Westbrook American reported on July 31, 1963, that Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Scribner, Robie Avenue, have been entertaining Mr. and Mrs. James Buxton and their two sons of Hamilton, Ontario.

Mrs. Austin Gorham III of Buxton was given a baby shower at the home of Mildred Gorham in Salmon Falls. Flavia Johnson of Virginia was hostess.
