The Westbrook American reported on May 9, 1962, that T.R. Boothby Inc., of Gorham was awarded a $120,416 bid to build the White Rock School on 10.5 acres. Plans called for seven classrooms for junior primary through Grade 6 and a food service area. The school replaced two rural ones, White Rock and Whitney schools.
