New York strongman Gerard Benderoth competes in the Toyota Tundra pull at the Overcome II strongman competition held Saturday at Westbrook High School. The competition also featured axle press, deadlift, medley and stone lifting events. All proceeds from the competition go to benefit the Lloyd Storey Cancer Fund. Storey, a longtime Westbrook firefighter, died last year of bone marrow cancer. His son, Elliott Storey, started the fund to help local families cope with terminal cancers.
