Celtic duo in Buxton concert

A Nashville-based acoustic Celtic duo will appear at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, at Saco River Grange Hall, 29 Salmon Falls Road, Bar Mills.

The duo features Scottish guitarist Peter Cairney and Vermont vocalist Deborah Packard. The concert includes slides of the Scottish landscape. Cairney and Packard are members of a band, “Isla” named for islands in Scotland and Maine.

Tickets are $14 and $12 for students and seniors (65 and older). For reservations, call 929-6472.
