Friday, Nov. 21: The Great Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner and Chamber Recognition Awards ceremony is at Shawnee Peak Ski Area, Bridgton, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Keynote speaker will be Jack Sours, vice president and general manager of the Oxford Casino. Saturday, Nov. 22: Sebago Lake Congregational Church’s Christmas Fair runs 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at 410 Northeast Road, Standish (Route 35). Coffee and a hot lunch along with silent auction, home baked treats, hand crafted gifts, white elephant room, and holiday decorations will be available.

Tuesday, Dec. 2: A holiday grief support meeting takes place 6–7:30 p.m. at North Windham Union Church, 723 Roosevelt Trail, Rt. 302, Windham. This is an open meeting for anyone grieving the death of a loved one. Saturday, Dec. 6: The Christmas Open House at the Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals runs 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Come meet the horses and enjoy complimentary refreshments, holiday treats, raffles, and MSSPA merchandise.
