A Russian delegation of five people from Greater Portland’s sister city Archangel visited the Mission Possible Teen Center in Westbrook Monday. The visit was sponsored by the Open World program at the U.S. Library of Congress. Talking with Rickie Bogle, teen center program coordinator (back to camera), are, from left, Andre Strukov, Fairfield, interpreter; Alexander Shaev, a museum director; Natalya Iakovleva, vice mayor, Solovky Island; Yury Surikov, college professor, Solovky Island; and Yelena Kuznetsova, publishing house director. The delegation also included Ivan Tabanin, a lawyer, not pictured. “They wanted to see this teen center and find out how it works,” Tabanin said. The group arrived in Portland last Friday and will leave Sunday.
