Jason A. Snyder
The Westbrook native, 37, and his family own the land for the proposed Stroudwater Place. The son of Arthur T. Snyder, who was instrumental in Old Port revitalization in the 1970s, he has experience with well-known international consulting, development and banking firms such as Sir Elly Kadoorie & Sons Ltd., and Lazard Freres & Cie./Batten & Associates.
He currently manages commercial and industrial-zoned properties in Greater Portland.
Arthur D. Emil
The New York lawyer and entrepreneur is principal owner of Night Sky Holdings LLC, which owned Windows on the World at the World Trade Center and operated the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center from 1986-1998. According to New York magazine, Windows on the World was the highest-grossing restaurant in America, bringing in $37 million in 2000.
In January, he won the contract to operate the famous Oak Room and Oak Bar in the landmark Plaza Hotel, which is near the end of a three-year, $400 million makeover.
He is the founding principal and shareholder of two real estate development firms with commercial, residential and mixed-use properties in Connecticut, New York and Ohio.
Jane Thompson
President of Thompson Design Group in Boston, she directs architects in the planning and designing of waterfronts and urban places throughout the country.
With her late husband and partner, Benjamin Thompson, she was a principal at BTA, the architects and planners for Fanueil Hall Marketplace. Her other projects have included Navy Pier in Chicago, Harbor Place in Baltimore and South Street Seaport in New York.
Pratat R. Talwar
An architect, planner and urban designer and principal at Thompson Design Group, he has been involved with such projects as Pittsburgh Convention Center, Planet Park Football Stadium in Indiana and a new ocean pier in Long Branch, N.J.
