Kerogen
Kerogen, owned by Lew Hayden of Pleasanton, Texas, trotted the fastest mile ever recorded by an aged stallion in Maine during Scarborough Down’s $7,500 Open-class event on Aug. 15. He and driver Kim Ireland completed the race in 1:58 flat.
