GORHAM – Gorham police are searching for a man who they say robbed the Community Pharmacy, 365 Main St., at 8:17 a.m. Thursday morning.

Detective Sgt. Dana Thompson said in a report that the man entered the pharmacy and presented a pharmacist with a note that he was armed and he wanted oxycodone. The man fled the store on foot after receiving an undetermined amount of the pain medication.

Police described the suspect as white, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He was wearing a green camouflage hat and a black hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.

The suspect was last seen running in the direction of Lawn Avenue, a Gorham residential area.

The robbery marks the second time in less than a month that the Community Pharmacy has been robbed. Police said a white or Hispanic man about 5 feet 7 inches tall wearing a black hat and a black, hooded sweatshirt robbed the pharmacy of oxycodone about 11 a.m. on April 16.
