Gorham’s Mia Rapolla gets by two Kennebunk defenders during the second half of the Class A semifinal game at Gorham High School on June 13. The Rams finished the regular season with an undefeated 12-0 record, good for the No. 1 seed in the Class A playoffs. The Rams knocked off Portland in the quarterfinals, but had their championship run cut short by Kennebunk in the semis. Rapolla had six goals in Gorham’s 12-10 loss.

Mustafa Jamal was a bright spot on the mound for Gorham’s baseball team this spring. He was the winning pitcher in three of the Rams’ four wins.

Gorham’s Kelsey Crowe was named the SMAA’s pitcher of the year and she was also selected as a member of the All-SMAA first team.
