No doubt I will have many concerns as the plans for the “newest development for Westbrook” unfold, but for now my main concern is the name chosen by the developers for the proposed project.

Since the project is just in the beginning stages as far as notifying the public is concerned, I would like to request that the city ask the developers to choose another name.

There already is a “Stroudwater Place” in Westbrook, just across from Woodlawn Cemetery and within a quarter mile of the proposed development.

My husband and I were one of the first families to buy a home on the street when it was developed in 1961, and we have resided here for almost 47 years.
