Gospel men to meet

The local chapter of the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International will meet for a buffet breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9.

Cost is $8; $6, seniors. Westbrook resident Lester Sabine will speak.

Trask on dean’s list

Elizabeth M. Trask, a 2004 graduate of Westbrook High School, was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of Southern Maine.

Trask is the daughter of Suzanne L. Trask and the late William M. Trask.

A senior, Trask is majoring in political science and minoring in criminology. She hopes to attend law school, specializing in public interest and human rights law. Trask is interning at a not-for-profit agency.

Five on St. Joseph’s dean’s list

Aaron Broaddus, Andrea Dvilinsky, Seth Glidden, Ryan McCrillis and Stephen Walsh, all of Westbrook, are among students who have been named to the honors list for the fall semester at St. Joseph’s College in Standish.

The honors list includes students with a 3.0 to 3.49 grade point average.

Flutist Roberta Michel is performing her debut solo performance at Carnegie Hall on March 16. The 2000 Westbrook High School graduate will return to Maine to perform at the University of Southern Maine in April.
