The B. J. Woodman Plumbing & Heating Co., left photo, was located at 846 Main St. The building dates back to the 1860s and a photo of that era shows the building occupied by a second-hand store on the first floor and J.F. & W.W. Spear, Carpenters & Painters on the second floor. Joe’s Sanitary Market, and later the Public Finance Co., occupied the building before it was purchased by Dr. J. Chase Rand. He remodeled and expanded it into a medical building. Today, continues to serve as a Medical Building.
