LeClair graduates in style
Wearing a decorated cap, Joe LeClair recently graduated from Mount Blue High School in Farmington. He is the grandson of Harry “Bud” and Jeanne LeClair of Westbrook and son of Mike and Angie LeClair of Wilton.
Jeanne LeClair said her grandson, “showing his true Maine heritage,” wore a cap decorated with antlers, a fishing lure and a Red Sox letter emblem.
She said the graduation, replete with humor by teachers, administration and students, was one of the best she had attended for awhile. “People have to realize that teenagers are supposed to remember their special moments in their lives as just that – their moments, not the school’s perfect graduation,” she said.
She submitted this item following news accounts of the Bonny Eagle High School graduation.
Joe LeClair is leaving July 21 for Army National Guard basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. followed by advanced training to be a helicopter pilot. A National Honor Society student, he will attend the University of Maine to study mechanical engineering and ROTC.
