Dorcas Society plans fair

The annual Dorcas Society fair and lawn party again will coincide with Buxton Community Day on Saturday, July 22, at Tory Hill, at the intersection of routes 112 and 202.

The society’s activities will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lunch under a tent on the lawn at Tory Hill Church.

There will be baked goods, books, crafts, pie booth and a community goods and services raffle table. Crafters call Jan at 727-5613 or Kathy at 929-6052.

Flynn earns degree

Shawn R. Flynn recently graduated from Stonehill College in Easton, Mass.

Flynn earned a bachelor’s degree.
