The photo on the left shows the large building located on Main Street at Seavey Street. Ansel H. Porter operated a grocery business on the first floor and the photo shows the employees of the store and the delivery wagons. A wooden sign on the upper portion of the building says; “S.D.Warren Council #4 O.U.A.M” with a Masonic emblem in the center. The grocery store and building was later purchased by Albert Mathieu, who operated Mathieu’s Market there for many years. The upper floors were converted into apartments. The building was remodeled several years ago with the first floor divided into a downsized version of Mathieu’s Market, operated by Philip Mathieu, and the other section converted into office space.
