Homeless in city

A homeless couple in Westbrook is living like animals under the city’s boardwalk while eating like kings.

A witness, who recently spotted the pair, believed they are dining on the wild ducks that are easily caught on the snow and ice along the Presumpscot River. Names and ages of the couple aren’t known.

They are reportedly elusive and seldom seen. According to the witness, both are fleet afoot and are having little difficulty nabbing, perhaps under cover of darkness, unsuspecting ducks.

The witness, who lives on the Brown Street side of the river, said the homeless couple appears healthy and each has long hair. No one knows how long they’ve been hanging out in Westbrook and they were last seen wearing matching red coats.

The witness said the homeless couple is a pair of foxes.
