Michael B. Hollyday of Cape Elizabeth has been promoted to a vice president in the commercial appraisal department at TD Banknorth in Portland.

As a senior commercial appraiser, he will continue to work with lenders and appraisers in determining appraisal needs, and ordering and reviewing appraisals for compliance.

Hollyday joined TD Banknorth in 2006 and has 26 years of combined experience in commercial real estate appraisal and real estate brokerage. He volunteers as a director of the Harmon Foundation. He received a master’s in business from the University of Southern Maine in 2000 and an undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1979.
