Memorial Day

events planned

The city of Westbrook is looking for veterans, past and present, to march or ride on the veterans float in the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 30.

All interested veterans should assemble at 9 a.m. on Monday May 30, at the American Legion Post No. 62, at 17 Dunn St. For more information, contact Rose Harriman at 856-7152.

Ceremonies begin at 8 a.m., in  Veterans’ Circle at Woodlawn Cemetery, and then move to the Stephen W. Manchester gravesite. The parade begins at 10 a.m. from Longfellow Road and then proceeds to Riverbank Park.
