The Westbrook American reported on May 9, 1956, that Mrs. Frank Weeks and son, Fred, of Duck Pond Road in Westbrook returned from visiting family in New York.

Standish High School’s baseball team defeated Gorham High School’s Rams 11-6. The game was in “Triple C” competition.
