Steven LaCourse, 46, of Buxton was killed Monday in a single-vehicle crash on Route 25 in Standish.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and Standish Fire and Rescue responded to a crash about 5:30 p.m. Aug. 8, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office.
LaCourse apparently veered off the right side of the road while driving southbound on Route 25/Ossipee Trail. His 2014 Nissan pick-up truck crossed a lawn and hit a tree in front of 950 Ossipee Trail.
LaCourse died from his injuries at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors.
