UMC hosting
Dan Schall concert
The North Pownal United Methodist Church will host Dan Schall in concert at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23.There will be no charge, but donations will be accepted.
The Rev. Raymond St. Pierre said that Schall’s ministry enables him to show how God has touched his life. Schall endured a severe speech impediment during his teen-age years.
“The anger and frustration controlled his life,” St. Pierre wrote on the church website. “It all was released one night by realizing that Jesus Christ died for all his trials and pains. He continues to stutter but God has blessed him with a singing voice that he has used for years for the Glory of God. The music reaches out to others in a specially unique way to show them the love that Jesus Christ has for them.”
In 2001, he resigned his job of 25 years and went into ministry full time. More on Schall’s ministry is available at www.DanSchall.org.
