The Westbrook American reported on Dec. 24, 1958, that Rachel Morin was named WAC of the year at Fort Devens in Massachusetts. Morin received a cash award and a three-day pass.

Mr. and Mrs. Del Cargill and family of Longfellow Drive in Westbrook were visiting  his parents in Vermont for the holidays.
