GORHAM — Police said a 20-year-old Windham man, suspected of hitting several parked cars with a pickup truck in Gorham at 9:54 p.m. on May 22, was arrested and transported to Cumberland County Jail in Portland.
Deputy Police Chief Christopher Sanborn said in a press release Wednesday that Hudson Adams was charged with operating under the influence and operating a vehicle without a license. Adams was placed on a probation hold for violating probation, Sanborn said.
Sanborn said Adams, driving a silver 2014 Chevrolet pickup, was southbound on Gray Road (Route 202) and “failed to stop at the stop sign” at the intersection with Main Street. Sanborn said Adams crossed Main Street into the driveway of 199 Main Street “hitting four parked vehicles.”
According to police, he then crossed over a section of grass into the driveway at 193 Main Street “hitting two additional parked vehicles before coming to rest.”
Sanborn said the parked vehicles were all unoccupied at the time of the crash and Adams was not injured.
