The Westbrook American reported on Sept. 4 , 1957, that Brenda Whitlock of Cumberland Street, Westbrook, had returned from a two-week visit to New Brunswick, Canada.

A daughter, Betsy Lee, was born Aug. 24 to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Sidney Elwell of Gorham.
