
She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on March 1, 1929, a daughter of Edward and Lydia (Pare) Goulet. She graduated from Biddeford High School.
Lorraine was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and world’s best friend.
Her hobbies included knitting and line dancing. She enjoyed wintering in Florida, walking the beach and working in her yard.
Mrs. L’Heureux was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Denis, on Oct. 9, 1991; one son, Denis, on Dec. 19, 2002; and one brother, Armand.
She is survived by: one son, Ronald L’Heureux of West Port Island; three daughters, Denise Sebbo of Helmet, California, Nancy L’Heureux of Portland, and Carol Raseman and her husband Donn of Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is also survived by: three grandchildren, Sam, Ben, and Jennifer; two great-grandchildren, Serena and Jordan; two sisters, Doris Angers and Monica Cote; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
